Hey Hunters! 🎬 Phylm started with a small annoyance: Google moved the watchlist feature off web search and buried it inside Google TV. My whole system for tracking films just... stopped fitting how I actually browse. But rebuilding a watchlist made me notice the real problem. Picking one movie today looks like this: search the title → watch the trailer on YouTube → check IMDb → cross-check Rotten Tomatoes and Metascore → then hunt down which platform even streams it. Five tabs. Every single time. And that's before you've decided anything. Phylm collapses all of it into one place: 🎬 Search movies & TV by genre, region, and language ⭐ Trailers + IMDb, TMDB, Metascore, and Rotten Tomatoes scores on one card 📺 Where to stream it — right there 📌 A watchlist that lives where you browse 💯 And my favorite part: rate what you've watched, and every film on the platform gets a match % based on your taste I built it for myself first, then realized every selective film lover has this exact tab-juggling ritual. Would love feedback from fellow cinephiles:) Also, what's the one thing you always check before committing to a film? Let me know in comments.

Curious how many of you have movies sitting untouched on your watchlist for years 😅 That exact problem is what pushed me to build Phylm

Remember when you'd spend more time browsing Netflix than actually watching something? That's the exact moment Phylm was built for 😅

Building this made me realize how many movies I've forgotten I wanted to watch. My old watchlist had 140+ titles I'd completely lost track of 😅 That's honestly half the reason Phylm exists.

Fun fact: the hardest part of building Phylm wasn't the UI or the database — it was the match %. Turns out "personal taste" is a genuinely hard problem to model well. Still iterating on it daily 🎬
