I built Phrasor because reading PDFs on the web still feels broken, especially if you want to listen while following the text. Most tools either sound robotic, lose sync with the page, or treat the document like one flat wall of text.**
So I wanted to build something that feels more like an actual reading companion:

Click any phrase to start reading from that exact spot
Listen with natural text-to-speech while following along
Keep your place and continue reading later
A detail I care a lot about is the phrase experience — not just reading full pages aloud, but breaking text into a flow that feels easier to follow. That idea even shaped the name: Phrasor.
