Photonic Logic Chip
Interference fringes as logic gates no silicon, 5mW @ 50GHz
Logic functions defined by light beam angles on liquid-crystal film — no silicon etching, no waveguides required. An interference fringe IS a logic gate. Verified: 400 GIPS (8-core), 5.289mW @ 50GHz, 10ps latency, hardware PUF security (7/8 cores compromised = 0% leakage). 28 technical claims, CERN DOI published, FDTD simulation done. Standard draft PLC-STD-001 submitted. Open for licensing.
I started this project with one observation: sunlight
reflecting on water creates interference patterns that
appear and disappear — like logic states switching on and off.
That became the core idea: what if interference fringes
were logic gates? No silicon. No etching. Just light angles.
Months later: 28 verified claims, a complete compiler chain,
hardware PUF security, and a standard draft PLC-STD-001.
5.289 mW @ 50 GHz. Four orders of magnitude below a GPU.

Who hunted Photonic Logic Chip?
Photonic Logic Chip was hunted by 毛广辉. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. See the full all-time top hunters leaderboard to discover who is shaping the Product Hunt ecosystem.
