I'm Curtis — solo founder, Western Australia. I've been building Phantom Chat for 8 months and just opened the public TestFlight beta.
Three things I designed it around:
1️⃣ Post-quantum from day one — hybrid Signal Protocol + NIST FIPS 203 ML-KEM-768 (Kyber). Most messengers still don't have this; we ship with it from launch.
2️⃣ Anonymous sign-up — no phone, no email. Just pick a username. Contact discovery is invite-code-only.
3️⃣ Hardware-bound identity — your private key lives in the iPhone's Secure Enclave and never leaves it.

Always happy to answer technical questions — and if you spot something the marketing site overpromises, please call it out. I've already removed three claims that didn't quite match the code (Sealed Sender, iMessage PQ comparison, "air-gapped" servers) — I'd rather get those right than ship spin.
Been bug hunting today, found a few more and squashed them, New version of Beta to download is 1.9.1 190. Code for group chat still live, come in and say hello and tell me what you think of the app.
