Hey Product Hunt 👋 We built PgCraft because using PostgreSQL on Linux always meant a compromise: pgAdmin feels like a website bolted into a window, and the heavier clients take a coffee break just to launch. The genuinely polished native clients? Mostly Mac-first. We wanted the fast, native Postgres GUI Linux never got — so we made it. PgCraft is a native desktop client.. It launches instantly, stays light, and the free edition is a complete daily driver with no tab, connection, or row caps: * Multiple concurrent connections, with credentials encrypted and stored in your OS keyring * A real SQL editor — schema-aware autocomplete, formatter, history, saved snippets * Safe inline editing: every change is staged and shows you the exact UPDATE/INSERT/DELETE before it runs * A streaming grid that stays smooth past 100k rows, plus CSV/JSON import & export * Basic NL→SQL — bring your own key; generated SQL is inserted for review and never auto-runs It started Linux-first, and it's now on macOS and Windows too. We're honest about where we are: this is a free public beta, and it stays free. A one-time Pro license (no subscription, ever) is coming later for the deeper stuff — a visual EXPLAIN plan viewer, schema diff & migrations, interactive ER diagrams, admin/monitoring, an agentic AI copilot, and an MCP server. Nothing that's free today will ever move behind it. On trust: your data stays yours. Product telemetry is opt-out, and it never touches your connection strings, credentials, query text, or row data.
