جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے معراج کا واقعہ بیان فرمایا تو بہت سے لوگوں نے اس پر تعجب کا اظہار کیا اور کچھ نے تو اسلام چھوڑ دیا۔ مشرکین مکہ حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس پہنچے اور ان سے اس واقعے کا ذکر کیا، یہ سوچ کر کہ وہ بھی اب اس بات کو جھوٹا کہیں گے۔
حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ نے جب یہ سنا تو فوراً فرمایا: "اگر یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمائی ہے تو یقیناً سچ ہے۔ میں تو اس سے بھی بڑی باتوں کی تصدیق کرتا ہوں جو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وحی کے ذریعے لاتے ہیں۔"
اس واقعے سے حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کے پختہ ایمان اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر کامل یقین کا اظہار ہوتا ہے۔ اسی وجہ سے آپ رضی اللہ عنہ کو "صدیق" کا لقب ملا، جس کا مطلب ہے "سچائی کی تصدیق کرنے والا"۔
یہ ایک چھوٹا سا واقعہ ہے، لیکن حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کی زندگی ایسے بے شمار واقعات سے بھری پڑی ہے جو ان کے عظیم المرتبت ہونے کی گواہی دیتے ہیں۔ اگر آپ کسی اور پہلو یا واقعے کے بارے میں جاننا چاہیں تو ضرور بتائیے۔

fwiw, I absolutely hate sites / services that use the dark pattern of letting the users upload photos and then ask to create account / login right before giving the result. SMH.
