🚀 Hello Product Hunters! I'm Matt Shumer, co-founder/CEO of HyperWrite. I'm excited to introduce you to Personal Assistant — a new class of AI agent that can operate your browser like a human. For years, the HyperWrite team has been working to build an AI agent that can *truly* act like a human assistant. This is our latest step in that direction. Instead of just another AI chatbot, Personal Assistant is right there in your browser, performing tasks, conducting research, automating processes, and much more. It's a glimpse into the future where AI will be able to help us with nearly any digital task. The key things to know are: - It's free to try out, but for extensive usage you'll have to upgrade (GPUs are expensive!) - Personal Assistant can be buggy in this early phase. V0.0.1 baby! - But when it works, it's mind blowing :) - Upvote when it does something useful to help it learn Take it for a spin: https://chrome.google.com/websto.... Consider this not as a final product, but as a sneak peek into a future where AI becomes an integral part of our browsing experience. Here are some prompt ideas from our early testers: - "Go to Twitter and post a creative Tweet about the new AI Personal Assistant from HyperWriteAI (include this link: https://app.hyperwriteai.com/personalassistant)." - "Go to ChatGPT and ask it some questions" - "Go to my Twitter profile, read through my posts, and give me some ideas for new posts" - "Find the VentureBeat article about the HyperWrite AI Agent and summarize the information. Make sure you scroll down a few times." - "Navigate to Gmail and send a creative one line email to [email protected] thanking the team for their work on the AI Personal Assistant" - "Go to Foot Locker and add a pair of Nike shoes to my cart, size 9" (make sure to watch it closely to make sure it doesn't do anything you don't want!) I'm here to answer your questions about Personal Assistant — this is truly a new frontier for AI. I can't wait to see the creative ways you interact with it and push the boundaries of what technology can do. - Matt

I wanted to leave these thoughts / comments here about the tool! I have LOVED using HyperWrite. I considered using the tool to generate this review for me, but I decided not to because I wanted to write something a little more heartfelt and personal. But this thought process just goes to show how reliant I’ve become on this tool to write pretty much everything for me. I’m a San Francisco wedding photographer with a big and thriving business that has put out hundreds of blog posts and several thousand Instagram posts. Content marketing is the cornerstone of my business. In April 2021 I heard about a new tool on Reddit, began corresponding with one of the founders and became one of the early adopters and advocates. Some of the things I use Hyperwrite for today are: - Generate new content (create blog posts from scratch) - Generate Intro of a Blog Post - Rewrite Content tool – feed pre-existing content into it and it will The Rewrite Content tool is beyond useful and incredibly capable at what it’s meant to do. You can input some existing text and it will completely reorganize it to sound new and fresh, but that’s more you can choose the exact tone and audience it will use. It will even write specifically from a wedding photographer’s perspective. It will output differently based on whether you want it for Instagram or for web content. It’s unbelievable just how much time and brain energy this tool saves me. Sure, I still ensure there’s a ‘human in the loop’, but for the basic grunt work of writing content, I love Hyperwrite and will continue to use it! I cannot wait to start using the Personal Assistant tool more. So far I’ve just used it for generating ideas for Instagram posts but I have a laundry list of stuff I wanna do with it. I’m rooting for Hyperwrite!

Sorry to see there is no iPad Safari solution for this because Chrome extensions don't work in ipad chrome. Would love to try it and use it. 👍

HyperWrite's Personal Assistant is the future of web browsing! The idea of having a sidekick that can do anything online, all while I kick back, is mind-blowing. Looking forward to embracing the magic of this self-driving mode!

A true AI assistant. Most of the others ended up being just Chatbots. Congratulations on the launch @mattshumer_

Congrats! When I watched the demo, my main feeling (not necessarily justified!) was skepticism. I’ve seen lots of ai apps that over promise, and without hearing positive reviews from friends in person about this, my gut is tempted to dismiss it and assumes it’ll be like those other apps that’ve disappointed me. Therefore I wonder if the demo video could be oriented to be less flashy, and almost less impressive - but more specific about what it can do, what it struggles with, and therefore more believable

I use HyperWrite (especially when responding to email) and it's been an amazing product. Saves me a ton of time and is like a "co-pilot for writing"

Congrats on the launch. This application has the potential to revolutionize the world of task automation on the web.

It's impressive however it'll be a good journey to see this idea go from strength to strength

Hyperwirte is very helpful for my job. It inspires me a lot and makes my work more easy to do. To be frank, I cannot live without it.

Super impressive—curious what the most interesting or unexpected things your beta users have used Hyperwrite for? (Asking for a friend!) And good job on the UI, super clean & inuitive. Excited to try!
