I wanted to build my first app. Kept hearing about the peptides craze and every indie hacker building a peptide tracker.
So I went down the rabbit hole, mostly Reddit, trying to find an angle that wasn't just another tracker.
One question kept showing up in every thread: is this COA even legit?
People don't trust the certificate their vendor sends them. Most don't know how to read one in the first place. Nobody had built anything for that.
So that became the idea.
Not a tracker. A simple tool that actually looks at the certificate of analysis and tells you what you're looking at. I read as much as I could on peptides and how COAs work, and started mapping out what the app needed to do.
That research turned into Pep Trust.
