More and more people ask ChatGPT "who's the best physio near me?" instead of scrolling Google. I wanted to know who actually gets named in those answers, so we asked ChatGPT and Gemini the questions local customers ask: 756 answers across seven trades and nine cities.
A few things surprised us:
- The top business in a city is named in only about 1 answer out of 3.
- ChatGPT and Gemini agree on a business only 51% of the time.
- A London clinic with 189 reviews and a 4.9 rating was named 0 times out of 45 by ChatGPT.
Good reviews get you onto Google. They don't get you into the answer.
