Hi, I'm the developer of PecoFence.
It's a desktop icon organizer for Windows 11, released as a free, open-source alternative to Stardock Fences.
You can put shortcuts, files and folders into groups, move and resize them, or combine groups into tabs. Rules can automatically sort new desktop items without changing where the files are stored. It also supports live folder views and saving or restoring layouts.

The gallery shows the desktop layout and tab handling using demo files.
PecoFence is Apache 2.0 licensed and doesn't require an account. It's Windows 11 x64 only. Downloads are available from Microsoft Store and GitHub; the portable build is unsigned, and most testing has been on 25H2.
Feedback on icon grouping, sorting rules and multi-monitor layouts would help me improve it.
