PDFly is a free PDF toolkit that processes your files directly in your browser. No uploads. No accounts. No waiting for a server. Merge, split, compress, convert, rotate and manage your PDFs while keeping your files on your device. Built for developers, students, professionals and anyone who works with PDFs regularly.
We built PDFly because working with PDFs shouldn't require handing your files over to another server every time.
A lot of online PDF tools follow the same pattern: upload your file, wait for the server to process it, then download the result.
For many documents, that's an unnecessary trade-off.
So we wanted to try a different approach: **process PDFs directly in the browser whenever possible, keeping the files on the user's device.**
That idea became PDFly — a simple PDF toolkit for merging, splitting, compressing, converting, rotating and managing PDFs without making privacy an afterthought.
We're still improving it, and this launch is as much about getting feedback as it is about sharing what we've built.
I'd especially love feedback on:
• Which PDF tool do you use most?
• What feature should we build next?
• How does the experience compare with the PDF tools you currently use?
• What would make you trust a client-side PDF tool more?
Give PDFly a try and tell us what you think. Honest feedback is very welcome. 🚀

Who hunted PDFly?
PDFly was hunted by Munish Kumar Sharma. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
