# PDFTools.shop — PDF tools that just work.
We built **PDFTools.shop** because working with PDFs shouldn't feel like fighting with a website.
You shouldn't need to create an account just to merge two PDFs.
You shouldn't have to navigate through five screens to compress a document.
And you definitely shouldn't have to install software for a task that takes 10 seconds.
So we built **PDFTools.shop** — a simple collection of fast PDF tools designed around one idea:
> **One problem. One action. One result.**
## What can you do with PDFTools.shop?
The first version includes tools for the PDF operations people use most:
* **Compress PDF** — reduce file size while keeping the document readable
* **Merge PDF** — combine multiple PDFs into one
* **Split PDF** — split documents by pages or ranges
* **Extract Pages** — pull specific pages out of a PDF
* **Delete Pages** — remove unwanted pages
* **Reorder Pages** — rearrange pages exactly how you want
* **PDF → Word**
* **PDF → Excel**
* **PDF → JPG / PNG**
* **PDF → Text**
* **JPG / PNG → PDF**
* And more
We also built tools around specific problems rather than forcing everyone through a generic workflow.
For example:
**“I need this PDF under 1 MB.”**
There's a tool specifically for that.
**“I need to combine these two PDFs.”**
There's a tool specifically for that.
The goal is to go from Google search → exact tool → upload → result.
## Privacy shouldn't be an afterthought
A lot of PDFs contain things you don't want sitting on someone else's server.
That's why **12 of our 15 tools currently run directly in your browser**.
For those tools, your file never needs to leave your device.
The tools that require server-side processing are clearly identified, and temporary files are deleted after processing.
No account.
No signup.
No watermark.
Just the tool.
## Built for speed
We don't want you spending time *on* PDFTools.shop.
We want you spending as little time as possible **using** it.
The ideal workflow is:
**Find the tool → Upload → Process → Download → Done.**
No dashboards.
No complicated editors.
No unnecessary onboarding.
No “create an account to continue.”
## Why another PDF website?
There are already some great PDF tools on the internet.
We aren't trying to reinvent PDF editing.
We're interested in something much simpler:
**Can we make the common PDF tasks ridiculously straightforward?**
That means building individual tools around specific search intent and making each one do one thing extremely well.
Instead of a giant PDF application with hundreds of features, we're building a focused toolbox.
## What's next?
We're starting with the fundamentals and will keep expanding based on what people actually need.
Some of the things we're exploring:
* More PDF conversion tools
* OCR
* PDF protection and unlocking
* Watermarks
* PDF metadata tools
* PDF repair
* PDF/A conversion
* Batch processing
* Better workflows between tools
* More exact-size compression tools
* Even faster browser-based processing
But we're deliberately taking this one tool at a time.
We'd rather have **20 tools people love using than 200 tools nobody needs.**
## We'd love your feedback
If you work with PDFs regularly, we'd love to know:
**What's the PDF task that annoys you the most?**
