PDFs are useful for sharing finished documents, but their content can be difficult to reuse in notes, documentation, and AI workflows. PDF To Markdown helps turn that content into editable Markdown.
There are two conversion modes:
• Regular Mode converts text-based PDFs locally in your browser, for free, without uploading the file.
• Advanced OCR handles scanned or more complex PDFs. It uploads the PDF for recognition and uses paid credits per successfully recognized page.
Review the original PDF beside the Markdown source or rendered preview, edit the result, then copy it or download a .md file. Batch conversion is available for working with multiple PDFs.
OCR source files are deleted after processing, and completed Markdown results remain available for 24 hours. Complex layouts may still need a quick manual cleanup.
