PayContext is a Chrome extension for SEEK that adds salary context directly to job search results. It shows disclosed salary details, market pay benchmarks when salary is hidden, and hiring-source signals such as recruiter vs direct employer. Instead of opening every listing to judge whether a role is worth your time, job seekers can compare pay context and hiring signals at a glance.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built PayContext because browsing SEEK job ads can be frustrating when salary information is missing, unclear, or hard to compare.
PayContext is a Chrome extension for SEEK Australia. It adds salary context, market pay benchmarks, and hiring-source signals directly to job search results, so job seekers can compare roles faster before opening every listing.
It currently focuses on:
• showing disclosed salary details when available
• adding market pay context when salary is not shown
• highlighting recruiter vs direct employer signals
• keeping the experience lightweight and privacy-first
I’d love feedback from job seekers, recruiters, and anyone who regularly uses SEEK. What information would help you decide whether a job is worth opening or applying for?
