44 APIs and 394 endpoints your AI agent can pay for per request in USDC on Base. No signups, no API keys, no subscriptions. 23 listings carry a verified badge, meaning I paid the endpoint from my own wallet and it returned real data, with the on-chain transaction hash to prove it. Most x402 directories list endpoints nobody has ever paid. Free to list, providers keep 100%.

Hi Product Hunt,

I'm Chet, and I built PayAPI Market solo.

The problem: AI agents hit paywalls constantly. Sign up, get a key, enter a card, wait for approval. An agent can't do any of that. It stops and waits for a human.

The x402 protocol fixes this. An endpoint returns HTTP 402 with a price, the agent signs a USDC payment, and the data comes back. No account, no key, sub-cent amounts, settled on Base in about a second.

The problem with x402 marketplaces is that most of them are directories. Anyone can list an endpoint and claim it takes payment. Nobody checks.

So I check. Every verified listing on PayAPI Market has been paid for from my own wallet, on-chain, and returned real product. If it didn't return real data, it doesn't get the badge. The transaction hash is on Base and anyone can look it up.

Today that's 56 verified listings. It’s not the biggest catalogue in this space. It’s the one where the badge is backed by a receipt.

Listing is free and providers keep 100% of what they earn.

Happy to answer anything about x402, the verification process, or what breaks when agents start paying for things.
