Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built Pay Splitter because I was tired of using expense tracking apps that looked like spreadsheets from 2010. While splitting bills on trips is necessary, the tools we use shouldn't feel like a chore.
My goal was to marry complex expense-splitting algorithms (which minimize the total number of transactions needed to settle up) with a stunning, modern glassmorphic UI. Throughout the development process, which was heavily accelerated by AI coding assistants, the focus shifted from just 'making the math work' to delivering a truly premium, delightful user experience with interactive charts and easy PDF exports.
