Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Joan, a developer from Colombia, and I built Pausita.
It started with my own screen time: 10+ hours a day and tired eyes by evening. Then I kept reading how people with ADHD describe "time blindness": a small notification in the corner just doesn't exist when you're hyperfocused. That's the problem I wanted to solve.
So I built Pausita around two gentle nudges:
👀 Eye breaks: every 20 minutes it asks you to look ~6 m away for 20 seconds, the 20-20-20 rule eye doctors recommend against digital eye strain. Breaks wait while your camera or mic is on, or your calendar says you're in a meeting.
⏰ Meeting reminders you can't miss: right before a meeting, it fills every screen with its name and a one-click Join button (Zoom, Meet, Teams…). Snooze 1, 5 or 10 min. I designed this with ADHD and time blindness in mind, but it helps anyone who gets absorbed in their work.
