mbti gave you four letters. job boards asked for your resume. neither knew what you actually are. pathr writes you a stack of cards. your default, your shadow, your element, your mission. share with friends to unlock each one. they all build into a codex that opens three real career doors at 639 vc-backed startups.
hi product hunt. i'm fedor.
i finished college around 2014. like a lot of you, it took me almost ten years after that to find work where my potential could actually come out. ten years between "i have a degree" and "i'm doing something that fits me." that gap is the thing i'm tired of.
and in 2026 that gap is so much wider.
every year now, big tech lays off thousands of experienced people. every year, a new wave of grads comes out of college with student debt, a credential, and zero clear path to work that fits who they are. the systems that were supposed to bridge them (career counseling, college advising, the strong interest inventory from 1959) are broken at the seams. AI is accelerating both sides of it.
corporate career tools try to flatten everyone into shapes that worked twenty years ago. they don't speak the language of the people they're supposed to help. mbti gives you four letters. linkedin tells you to network. chatgpt says "be adaptable." none of it names what you actually are, or where your real potential might open a door you weren't looking at.
pathr is my attempt to reduce that gap.
it reads you in layers, in your own language. each card opens a different side of who you are. share with friends to unlock the next, compare cards, see who fits with you. the final codex is the full read on who you actually are. it names three real career doors built for that person, with live openings at 639 vc-backed startups (yc, a16z, sequoia, founders fund, the ai labs). some of those doors will be obvious from your background. some won't. that's the point.
i want every new grad closing their student debt on work that fits them. too many are paying off college on jobs they ended up in because no system read them right.
free during launch. no codex paywall, no email until you've seen your card.
one ask: take it, then drop your archetype in the replies. feedback and bug reports go straight into the next iteration.
