Hi everyone, I'm Alex, I built PastPitch.
Most football betting "systems" are never tested. Someone notices a pattern, remembers the times it worked, and forgets the rest. I wanted a place to check an idea against seasons that have already happened, with only what a punter could have known before kick-off.
PastPitch replays past seasons three ways: call each game yourself, describe a pattern once and let it place simulated bets across every season you pick, or take a pattern into the current season and get a heads-up before any game it selects.
The part I care most about is what it refuses to hide. Every result comes with a "skill or luck?" test of whether the return could be noise, a notice when the sample is too thin to mean much, and a notice when the bankroll ran out before the season did. A game only ever sees games that kicked off before it, so there is no accidental lookahead.
No real money is involved and nothing on the site is advice. It is a simulator for finding out whether an idea holds up, and most of them don't.
The Premier League is free. I would love to hear which strategy you would test first, and I'll happily run it and post the result here.
