Select text, use your shortcut, and preview the translation. When it says what you mean, press Return to replace the original. You can also open the small writing box or turn a rough idea into a clearer AI prompt in your target language.
For terminal workflows, the optional local Zsh integration supports shell drafts, Codex CLI and Claude Code. It returns the translated draft for you to keep editing; it doesn’t send a message or execute a command.
It supports 17 target languages on macOS 14 and later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. The free plan includes 10 answers a day with no signup. Pro is $8/month or $48/year, with up to 1,000 answers a day across 3 Macs.
