Hey Product Hunt Community 👋
Passus started from a very simple travel habit
Whenever we plan a trip, we use Google Maps to create our walking itineraries. We check how long it takes to get from one place to another, organize our days, and try to understand how much we can realistically do on foot
But there was always one thing missing: how many steps will we actually take?
During trips, I would usually check my phone at the end of the day just to see how many steps we walked. It was mostly curiosity, but it made me wonder: why wait until the end of the day?
So we built 👣 Passus
A browser extension that brings step estimation directly into Google Maps. While you plan a walking route, Passus automatically calculates the estimated total steps based on your own stride length
