Partly is a modern Splitwise & Tricount alternative that makes shared expenses actually simple. Split bills with friends in seconds, scan receipts with AI, and let everyone pay how they want with 7+ payment options. Categories and analytics show who paid what so groups can settle up fairly, for free.
Hey everyone 👋 I built Partly because splitting bills with friends always felt way more painful than it should. Existing apps work, but they’re often clunky, overcomplicated, or just not designed for how we actually live and spend together.
With Partly, I wanted something that feels fast and lightweight: you split a bill in a few taps, scan a receipt with AI instead of typing every line, and let everyone pay the way they want (I support multiple payment options already). No paywalls for the basics – I want it to be an actually usable alternative to Splitwise & Tricount, not another locked-down tool.
I’ve been iterating a lot based on early users’ feedback and I’m still solo on this, so today’s launch is a big milestone for me. I’d really love your feedback on the UX, the flows, and what you’d need to fully switch from your current app. If you try it, tell me what feels great and what still feels annoying – I’ll read everything and keep shipping.
Quick note: I’m also offering 14 days of premium for free to anyone who tries Partly during the launch. producthunt with the code : PARTLYOEE1G2
