Parity is the world's first AI SRE. It's the first line of defense for on-call engineers working with Kubernetes. Before you've opened your laptop, Parity has conducted an investigation to triage, determine root cause, and suggest a remediation.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Wilson, co-founder of Parity. I'm super excited to launch Parity, the world's first AI SRE. My co-founders (@coleman_smith and @jeffrey_tsaw) and I have been building Parity in this summer's YC batch. We had the idea to build Parity after sharing a particularly rough on-call rotation with each other at our last role.
The bottom line is that on-call sucks for engineers. Chances are you or someone you know has had a terrible on-call experience. 2am pings on the weekends. A week of lugging your laptop around to the gym, your best friend’s birthday party, etc. Engineers often write off the week knowing that they’ll make 0 progress on their actual work and instead spend it deep in k8s hell.
Parity triages, investigates, and suggests remediations for on-call issues for engineers working with Kubernetes. Parity integrates with your alerting solution (i.e. PagerDuty, Datadog) to act as a new first line of defense for your k8s cluster. Before you’ve opened your laptop, Parity has already conducted an investigation to triage, determine root cause, and suggest a remediation.
For teams with runbooks, Parity can follow a runbook just like an engineer would when an alert goes off. If you don't have runbooks, no problem - given an alert or a prompt like “there were latency spikes in X service today from 1-3pm”, Parity will open an investigation, gather information from your cluster, and test several hypotheses to determine the root cause.
Parity also has a Chat with Your Cluster feature. This allows you to quickly check the status and configuration of their cluster with natural language instead of having to find the right kubectl command and digging through CLI outputs and yaml files.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts! If you are an engineer that works with k8s, or know someone that does, we'd love for you to try out the platform!
I’m impressed with the proactive approach to triaging issues before engineers even start their day. It’s a smart way to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Great job on this launch! The AI-driven approach to SRE is sure to make a big difference in how Kubernetes incidents are managed.
What an impressive tool! Automating the first line of defense for on call engineers is a big step forward. I’m really interested in how it handles complex issues and integrates with existing workflows.

Will there be integrations with other monitoring tools or platforms to enhance its functionality?
I really appreciate the focus on reducing the initial workload for on-call engineers. This tool seems like a significant improvement in Kubernetes management.
Congrats on the launch, @wilson_spearman! 🎉 Parity sounds like a game-changer for on-call engineers. The integration with existing alerting solutions is a smart move. Can’t wait to see how it improves the on-call experience!
