I'm Colin, an ELCA pastor in the Midwest. I built Parishly because I was drowning in spreadsheets trying to keep track of my congregation.
The breaking point was realizing a family had stopped coming to church three months ago — and I hadn't noticed. That's not okay. But it's also not realistic to expect one pastor to manually track hundreds of people.
So I built what I wished existed: an AI that watches for the patterns I'd miss. When someone stops showing up, Parishly notices and drafts a follow-up message for me. When a visitor checks in for the first time, it starts a care sequence automatically. I still write the personal notes — but now I don't forget to.
We're in early beta with a handful of churches, and the feedback has been encouraging. I'm here all day to answer questions, take feedback, and nerd out about the intersection of AI and pastoral care.
