Parenthood is hard. There is no manual and every journey is different, yet everyone has an opinion to give, and every parenting book sells one right way. Doubting yourself becomes a habit, and searching for answers never ends.
Truth is, most parents already have a way of doing things. They just have no name for it, and no calm way to compare it with the person they are raising a child with.
So I built Parent Brick Road. It is a mirror, not a judge:
• Answer 9 to 14 everyday situations (what happens when a rule gets broken, who picks what is on the screen).
• Get your closest matches from 40 sourced approaches, across parenting philosophy, screens and tech, and school choice.
• See what each approach asks of your week, and where your week is the limit.
• With the Family Pass, your partner or a grandparent answers on their own account and you see the one or two places you differ. It never says who is right.
Two choices I made that I would like your opinion on:
1. No language model writes the reports. Every sentence comes from a sourced grid and text written in advance, so any claim can be traced back to its source.
2. The method page lists what the tool cannot do. It measures whether your answers are consistent with an approach, not whether the approach is right for your child.
The result is free and complete, with no account. A full report is $7 and the Family Pass is $29 once, with no subscription. For Product Hunt it is free with the code BRICKROADTEST.
