I built paperformat because every "free" PDF tool I tried either uploaded my files to some server I couldn't see, buried the real tool behind a paywall, or watermarked the output.
So I built one that doesn't do any of that. 15 tools — JPG/PNG/WEBP↔PDF, merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, and password protect — and almost everything runs entirely client-side in your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device for most tools. Password protection is genuine AES-256 encryption, not a cosmetic lock.
This is a solo side project, still very new — would genuinely love feedback on what's missing, what's confusing, or what tool you wish existed. I'm here all day answering everything.
