Seen a lot of discussion about Palworld recently. A lot of it is because of its "similarities" to Pokémon.
It's an online multiplayer game where you can collect little characters and train, fight, farm, and even eat them. One of the big talking points is the resemblance to Pokémon and where it gets funny is when you consider the resemblance and you add guns to the mix.
These little critters can wield machine guns if you want them to and fight on your behalf.

The game has great potential. I honestly find the accusations of similarity to Pokémon a bit sterile, with 1025 creatures created by Gamefreak it is quite logical that there is a risk of overlapping in the creation of the creatures.
I'm not particularly a fan of the game for a whole series of reasons that we don't need to explore here, but I feel like upvoting it to support the development team.
