You get the help you need while they get compensated for their time and experience.
With the job market being as difficult as it is, entry level jobs are almost impossible to land. Recent grads are no longer finding jobs out of college and are competing with senior candidates who are taking lower level positions due to layoffs. I know the exhaustion of sending out hundreds of job applications and dealing with the discomfort of cold messaging people on Linkedin for help.
That's why I created Palplug. A network of professionals who offer career consultation, mentorship and basically any help they can give to get you hired at their company.
If you already have a job and want to make a side stream of income, become a plug and set your rates and schedule. Help others get to where you are now.
The hiring manager knows when a connection is bought on a marketplace. Monetizing the goodwill destroys the trust. At some point the "insider" recommedation is not even worth paying for)
