PalinDragon
The daily word game where every solution is a palindrome
PalinDragon is a daily word game for Wordle fans who like a twist: every solution is a palindrome — a sentence that reads the same forwards and backwards. Make guesses, read the clues, and avoid getting stuck by trading guesses for reveals about the puzzle including oblique hints, and the puzzle's spacing and punctuation. One tap and share your run as a share grid image.
I wanted to build a real product end-to-end using agentic coding. Not a demo or toy, but something with a brand worth defending and a moat around it. PalinDragon is the result: a daily palindrome puzzle backed by a content pipeline that generates and verifies its own corpus, and still keeps human contributors and curators in the loop.
I got my start in games decades ago and have been inventing technological solutions using software ever since, including the tool for strategic thought Flying Logic, and most recently the world's first "self-writing book," The Encyclopedia of Agentic Coding Patterns. PalinDragon is my latest project where I put those patterns to work on a shippable product: every line of code, the puzzle pipeline, the brand, the infrastructure. The biggest surprise, despite my being immersed in agentic coding since its inception, was how fast it came together and the freedom it gave me to quickly try out creative ideas. At the same time, I don't believe just anyone could have built this product "on vibes". To be both good and fast, you need experience, taste, and judgment.
Like PalinDragon's two-headed namesake, the product reaches back to my roots in games and forward to where I think software is going.

PalinDragon was hunted by Wolf McNally. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
