Most blockers can be switched off by the same person who switched them on. Pact Blocker adds a partner lock: someone you trust holds the unlock code, so the block holds even when willpower doesn't. Blocking runs 100% locally in Microsoft Edge: no accounts, no browsing logs, nothing uploaded. Free tier to start, full version $14.99 one-time, no subscription.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Mendy, the maker of Pact Blocker. Every website blocker I tried had the same flaw: the person who turns it on can turn it off. At 11pm, that person is not the same one who set it up that morning. Pact Blocker fixes that with a partner lock. You pick the sites to block, and someone you trust (a friend, spouse, coach, accountability partner) holds the unlock code. To remove the block, you have to ask them. That small bit of friction is what makes it actually hold. A few things I cared about: - Runs 100% locally in Edge. No account, no server, your browsing is never logged or uploaded. - Free tier so you can try it today. - Full version is $14.99 once. No subscription. I'd love your feedback, especially on how you'd want the partner handoff to work. I'm here all day to answer questions!
