'm thrilled to share SnagSheet with you today.
What inspired this? I kept watching site managers, contractors, and homeowners waste hours walking jobsites with a notepad, snapping disorganized photos, then spending their evenings typing it all up into punch lists nobody could action. The handoff between "I saw a problem" and "the right sub is fixing it" was painfully broken.
The problem we're solving Punch lists are the unglamorous backbone of every construction and renovation project — and they're almost always done in WhatsApp threads, scattered photos, and messy spreadsheets. Things get missed. Subs don't know what's theirs. Clients lose trust.
How SnagSheet works Walk the site, snap photos, and in ~30 seconds you get a structured punch list — grouped by trade, prioritized, and ready to share. Assign items to subcontractors via a simple link (no logins for them), they upload before/after fix photos, and you verify. Export a clean branded PDF for the client when you're done.
How the approach evolved We started thinking this was a "photo organizer." It quickly became clear the real value is in the workflow — assignment, verification, status tracking, and the paper trail. The visual recognition is the hook; the accountability loop is what keeps people coming back.
Free to try, no credit card. Would love your honest feedback — especially from anyone in construction, property management, or renovation. What's missing? What would make this a daily tool for you?
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
