Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Quy, a developer in Vietnam.
A lot of what I learn — Udemy courses, conference talks, YouTube tutorials — is in English, and my listening was never as good as my reading. Subtitles helped, but then I was reading instead of watching what the instructor did on screen.
So I built Oyelo. You press Dub on a video and it speaks the translation in your language, timed to the picture, with the original turned down. It reads the subtitles on YouTube, Udemy, Coursera and Bilibili, and listens to the speech on any other site. A second window, Translate Any Audio, does the same for a live meeting, a stream or your microphone, including a two-way mode I use as a pocket interpreter.
It's free with no sign-up. Transcripts stay in your browser. If you want more natural voices you can add your own OpenAI, Gemini or Google Cloud key.
What it can't do yet: phones, and DRM services like Netflix.
