I originally built OwnKeyBot because I wanted an affordable AI chatbot for my own website, without complex setup or unclear AI costs. Since the first launch, OwnKeyBot has grown a lot: it now supports OpenAI and Mistral, document uploads, website crawling, product feeds, chat history, analytics, and a new Team+ plan for managing multiple isolated bots.
The idea is still simple: bring your own AI key, keep full cost control, and launch a chatbot on your website in minutes.
