the hex grid overlay on the world map is such a clever way to slice up the globe, makes picking your spot feel almost like a game. love that it costs a buck.
honestly this is a fun little idea, kinda like a digital time capsule but on a map. grabbed my hex and it was surprisingly quick, just picked a spot and dropped in a photo and a note for my kids. low-key cool to think someone could stumble on it someday.
Picked a hex near my grandparents' old town and it felt oddly meaningful seeing my note pinned to a real coordinate. Simple setup, the link sharing works well, though I wish the map zoomed in a bit more by default.
honestly this is such a fun idea but it would be cool if you could see a little history of your hex over time, like maybe other people passing through can leave a note or something so it actually feels alive and not just a static square of land
Love the idea of stretching a flat map into hexes just to give everyone their own little plot of Earth. The one dollar price point makes it feel like a fun impulse thing rather than some corporate land grab.
