Hunted byTerrance HenryTerrance Henry

A minimalist weather app inspired by Dark Sky. Most weather apps open with a screen full of numbers. Dew point, UV index, barometric pressure, a ten-day outlook, three panels of advertising. All of it is technically weather, and almost none of it changes what you do in the next hour. Ovrvue starts from the opposite end. The first screen shows the temperature, whether it's about to rain, and anything genuinely worth knowing today. Everything still exists, its only one tap away.

Ovrvue — a weather app for people who miss Dark Sky I'm Terrance, and I built Ovrvue because i never quite found a replacement I liked of the much beloved Dark Sky. Most every weather app I tried opens with a wall of numbers. Dew point, UV index, pressure, a ten-day outlook, three panels of ads. Almost none of it changes what I'm about to do in the next hour. Ovrvue starts from the other end. It shows the temperature, whether it's about to rain, and anything actually worth knowing today — a storm closing in, bad air, gusts that'll take your patio umbrella. If nothing is notable, nothing appears. Everything else is one tap away. Free, no ads, no account. Forever. I hope you give it a try. Thanks.
