OvationAI helps local businesses get more 5-star reviews. AI writes personalised review requests, automatic follow-ups chase the silent ones, and unhappy customers are intercepted into private feedback — before they ever post a bad review.
I'm Nicolas, and OvationAI is my first real SaaS — so this launch is a bit nerve-wracking.
The idea came from a simple frustration: local businesses live and die by their Google/Truspilot/Stores rating, but most owners never ask for reviews (awkward), and the one customer who had a bad day can leave a 1-star that sits there forever.
So OvationAI does two things:
- It writes the review request for each customer using their name and the service they actually got — so it sounds like the owner wrote it, because effectively they did.
- Before sending the public review link, it asks how the visit went. Happy customer → Google/Trustpilot. Not happy → a private form that lands in the owner's inbox instead of on their public page.
There's also auto follow-ups, a QR code you can print for walk-ins, and an AI that summarises the private feedback.
It's free to start. Honestly I just want to know if this is useful to real people — if you run a business or know someone who does, I'd love to hear what you think. Tear it apart 🙏

Who hunted OvationAI?
OvationAI was hunted by Nicolas Mangin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
