I tried to use it. Liked the simple interface. However, asking to sign up by hitting the "Find Expert" button felt like a dealbreaker. You should show some experts and their profiles before you ask for a sign-up. It will help people provide details with confidence. In the meantime, I wish you good luck.

This feels like a game-changer for those seeking expert advice without the hassle of networking. The guaranteed response part is super impressive. Excited to see how it helps startups and creators grow.

I signed up and tried it. I like the idea. but when I was given the professionals who would be well-suited to provide feedback I was not sure which professional to pick. The information provided to me was not useful in narrowing down which professional to pick. I know it is early on for the product but I would like to have either reviews or rating from other users on the professional. Not sure how this would affect the product or if it is something the team wants to adopt.

I cannot WAIT to use this to get a consult on my tech stack as someone building my first solo webapp!

😸 In the spirit of feedback: I wanted to try this, I love feedback as a service concepts! But giving up my phone nr? in 2025 🥶 I dont see a reason why I would need to fork this over. A suggestion would be to justify why in short blurb. We need your phone nr jada jada jada.

@deank @michael_green15, congrats on the launch. Guaranteed Expert Advice - how is this different from similar products like ADPList, Clarity, etc? Also, why limit professionals to big tech companies only? Just curious. Startup folks tackle more diverse challenges and bring more unique perspectives. No?

First of all, outstanding idea! I have a question: Do even top companies allow their employees to sell their expertise with or without their consent? A suggestion: Is it possible to get expert opinion on common queries asked by non-experts? If both answers are "somewhat yes" then Outpost should become the go-to place like Stack Overflow used to be for developers. A bright future awaits this product. Good going

This sounds like such a brilliant way to bridge the gap between professionals and those seeking real-world insights. Having the ability to get direct, actionable advice from someone in a top-tier company in hours feels like a game-changer for career growth and product feedback.

Interesting, A few questions: 1. Do you position yourself like a high-end Fiverr? 2. How do you create the Networking effect, and get in contact with the individuals? Do you take a cut on the deal. 3. Also often these people, who are your experts already have a very high salary, why did they decide to do a side hustle? And when do they take the time?

Congrats on the launch! Nice fix for getting expert advice. Way better than sending random messages on LinkedIn and hoping someone replies.

How did you get the first 1000 experts and how do you make sure they are genuine?

I really like the idea—it seems fresh and your product definitely has an audience. I have one suggestion regarding the user flow: I recommend moving the registration stage further down the process. For instance, after a new user has selected an expert and written a message. This approach would allow the new user to experience the product's value earlier, showcasing the opportunity to discuss a topic of interest with an expert, while also addressing any concerns about pricing.

How did you contract partners? :) Are you not worried about capacity utilization? (e.g. when there will be more inquiries than mentors can handle)

Neat Idea 💡😍 Um, doo professionals provide ongoing mentorship, or is it typically a one-time interaction?

Very nice idea @deank. I gave it a try to find an expert on product positioning. First feedback: On the app, I started with the first message prompt. After entering the prompt, I needed to sign up. But after signining up, the first prompt was gone (so I had to rewrite it, which was kinda annoying). In the AI chat, it wasn't clear that my input text is capped, so I was a bit surprised that I wasn't able to enter more text after x characters. For my specific case, the experts weren't ideal (I guess because you're super early and the network isn't that big), that's why I didn't pay for consulting (and I already have some good experts on those topics in my network where I don't have to pay, so I'm a bad early adopter, lol). Still, I like the product and see the potential, congrats on the launch and keep building!
