Outline started because I was tired of feeling mentally scattered.
I had tasks everywhere, notes across multiple apps, random ideas in chats, screenshots, and unfinished docs. Nothing felt connected, and I kept losing momentum between thinking and actually doing.
So I started building a small personal tool that combined notes, tasks, and idea capture in a way that felt fast, minimal, and natural to use.
Over time, it evolved into something much bigger.
V2 is the result of months of rebuilding, redesigning, testing workflows, and simplifying things aggressively. I didn’t want another bloated productivity app. I wanted something that feels calm, quick, and actually enjoyable to open every day.
A lot of the product decisions came from my own late-night workflows as a builder, manager, and someone constantly juggling ideas.
Really excited (and honestly nervous 😅) to finally share it publicly. Would love any feedback, feature ideas, or thoughts from the community ❤️
