I built Outbid around a simple idea: **great products deserve attention, even when the person behind them doesn’t already have a huge audience.**
Everyone starts with a $1 spot in “The Hood.” From there, founders, artists, creators, and brands can rally their community to add to their bid and help them move up. Once a project reaches $100+, it unlocks “Hollywood” and gets increased exposure across the platform.
I wanted discovery to feel competitive, social, and fun — almost like turning product promotion into a game your entire community can participate in.
The goal is simple: **start at the bottom, prove people believe in what you’re building, and bid your way to Hollywood.**
