Ousia gives small applications and lightweight servers the traffic-handling power of a massive enterprise infrastructure. Built in Go, it acts as an intelligent traffic funnel- automatically balancing user requests, preventing crashes with built-in circuit breakers, and speeding up data delivery Instead of paying for massive cloud overhead or fighting complex setups, Ousia gives you a zero-config, high-performance edge gateway to scale effortlessly.
Hi everyone!!
I'm jaysyrk (Jacob McCord), the creator of Ousia
Why I built this:
Right now, if a small project gets sudden viral traffic, the server crashes or the developer gets hit with a massive cloud bill. I built Ousia to fix that. It acts as a smart traffic funnel, letting small, affordable servers handle big enterprise traffic volumes without breaking a sweat
What it does:
Prevents Crashes: Built-in shields stop traffic surges from knocking your app offline
Balances Load: Shares the work evenly across your servers so nothing gets overwhelmed
Zero-Config: You get massive enterprise power without fighting complex networking code
It is 100% open-source under the MIT license. I would love feedback from anyone, experienced or not.. i want to make this as good as possible!!
