Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
James here, the creator of OrrivaBot. I’m incredibly excited to finally launch this project today!
The inspiration behind OrrivaBot came from my own painful experience managing growing Discord communities. We've all been there: relying on traditional bots that only search for static blacklisted words. Toxic users easily bypass them with clever typos, sarcasm, or by moving their disruptive behavior into Voice Channels. Traditional moderation completely lacks **context**, forcing moderation teams to manually review endless report logs daily. It’s exhausting and scales terribly.
I wanted to fix this. I spent the last few months solo-coding OrrivaBot to bring true Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities directly into Discord server management. It doesn't just scan text; it actually understands the true intent, context, and your server's unique rulebook to make real-time decisions—even across audio and video streams.
Just last night, I went through a massive milestone: I used Cursor to completely refactor the entire backend architecture, successfully splitting over 5,400+ lines of complex spaghetti code into highly optimized, modular systems (separating our UI views, core LLM utils, and anti-abuse background tasks).
To match this new professional architecture, I also completely redesigned our official website to give it a sleek, dark, next-gen AI aesthetic that makes onboarding a breeze for server owners.
As an independent developer, I built this because I wanted to create a tool that genuinely saves the sanity of community managers. I’m here today and would love to hear your honest feedback:
1. What specific moderation challenges does your community face that keyword filters can’t solve?
2. What features should our LLM context engine tackle next?
Thank you so much for your support, upvotes, and feedback. Let's build safer, smarter communities together!

Who hunted OrrivaBot?
OrrivaBot was hunted by James. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
