Hunted byTonyTony

Orivael sits between your users, your agents, and your tools and enforces policy on every action before it runs. It blocks unsafe or irreversible tool calls, routes high-risk actions to human approval, and signs every decision into a tamper-evident audit trail. Built for teams shipping AI agents that can't afford a "the bot deleted prod" incident. • Intercepts tool calls, not just text • PASS / WARN / BLOCK + approval • Signed audit log • Self-hostable, microsecond hot path

Top comment

Hi PH 👋 I built Orivael after watching an "authenticated, well-formed" request walk an agent straight into a destructive action — the API security stack saw nothing wrong, because nothing was wrong about the request. The damage was in the action. So Orivael governs the action layer: every tool call is ruled on before it executes, and every decision is signed so you can prove what happened. The demo isn't scripted — type any situation and watch the guard rule on whatever the model tries to call. It's free to try and self-hostable. I'd love your hardest "but what about…" — especially on the over-blocking tradeoff, which is the part everyone else hides. AMA.

How does the approval handoff actually feel in practice — like do I get a Slack ping with a diff of the pending action or am I living in your dashboard all day waiting for prompts

How does the approval routing actually work in practice — like does a human get a Slack ping with a one-click approve button, or am I building some custom webhook for it?

Who hunted Orivael?

Orivael was hunted by Tony. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
