Hi Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Origin, a community funding platform on Ethereum. I built Origin around a simple belief: innovative ideas with real potential deserve a chance to be tried. Many capable builders have something worth creating, but lack the early funding and support needed to take the first step. Origin aims to help them move from “I have an idea” to “I can start building it.” Through community funding, builders can find their first supporters and put their ideas into practice. Community involvement also matters after funding. Origin brings fundraising and community governance together, giving supporters a voice in how project funds are used and helping builders stay accountable as their projects develop. I’d love to see more useful applications, better infrastructure, and experiments that bring lasting value to blockchain. Giving these projects a chance to begin is why I created Origin. I’d love your feedback: what would you need to know before supporting an early-stage project? And if you’re a builder, what is the biggest obstacle between your idea and getting started? Take a look: https://origrow.net/ Thanks for checking out Origin!
