Hey Product Hunt! I’m Matt Watson, founder of Origin. Origin is reimagining wealth management for the next generation. We’re an all-in-one platform, where you can track your spending and budget, actively invest, save, file taxes, and get expert financial guidance. We’ve come a long way from when we started 5 years ago… Back then, we launched Origin as a financial wellness benefit. We worked with leading employers to help their employees understand stock options. Equity was a black box. We started building and selling a product that helped employees understand their stock options and learn how to make smart financial decisions around equity. Then, we expanded into spending, net worth, and investment tracking and are now used and loved by employers such as DocuSign, Reddit, and Modern Health. We’re the #1 budgeting app in 2024, ranked by Forbes. Last year, we took our product direct to consumer. We brought online even more features beyond tracking—including tax filing and estate planning—to become the most comprehensive wealth-building platform. Today, we’re launching Origin on ProductHunt to celebrate the significant updates we’ve made to our platform and our new features. Here are a few of my favorites: * 5.8% APY* High-Yield Cash Account: Put your money to work with an industry-leading cash account at 5.8% APY* (promotional rate). * Intelligent AI-powered Insights: Get smart notifications on your spend velocity, credit score changes, and portfolio movement. * Improved AI guidance: Get an automated portfolio analysis and plan for retirement with AI-powered guidance. * Expert-built stock bundles: Invest in line with your interests with stock bundles such as Travel Titans and Cloud Capital. * Referral program: Invite your friends and family to Origin and earn rewards. We’re pumped to go live on PH, and we’d love to hear your questions and feedback! Thank you again for your support. Matt *See disclaimers here: https://www.useorigin.com/legal

Hey, congratulations on the launch! I'm interested in trying this out to see if it's worth transferring to from what I currently use, but before I do so, I'd like to know if there was a discount code I could use – even if it's something small, I think that would definitely contribute to helping me consider converting! Thank you :)

Origin's all-in-one platform sounds like a comprehensive solution for managing one's finances. The ability to budget, invest, and grow savings in one place is incredibly convenient. Congratulations on the launch!

If I see something so good looking I immediately trust it. However, if I tried to sign up I got "Your connection was interrupted" message and later "An error was encountered with the requested page. Invalid state" For good UX it is super important to think about the non happy flow also. Make sure that users get it what went wrong and how to fix it. Also from someone living outside of US. I know the whole business revolves mostly there. However, for me it is not 100% clear can I use this in EU or its very limited and mostly US-focused.

It’s great to see an all-in-one platform that not only helps with budgeting and investing but also assists with creating a will. How comprehensive is the will creation process?

A financial app that helps with budgeting, investing, and even creating a will? It sounds like Origin is ready to handle all my adulting needs! 😄

Can you provide more details on the AI-powered financial guidance? How does it tailor recommendations to individual financial situations?

I have been used separate tools for budgeting and investing, but having everything in one place with a high APY savings option is a real upgrade. Excited to see how it integrates!

I’m really interested in the 5.8% APY savings feature. Is that rate fixed or can it fluctuate over time?

I’m curious, how does the AI-powered financial guidance work in terms of personalizing advice for different users?
