👋 Hey Product Hunters, thanks for checking our launch ❤️
I’m Finn, Co-Founder of Origami. Today, we’re officially available for anyone to try!
Our path to building Origami started 5 years ago, when I launched my first cold outbound email agency.
Over time, we evolved to become one of the largest go-to-market (GTM) agencies, working with 250+ businesses to build custom high quality lead lists.
Our customers would pay us $5-10k/month to build lead lists for them, because it was just that difficult to do ultra high quality lead generation and enrichment.
Eventually, we asked ourselves: what if we could make this service available to anyone at a fraction of the cost?
That's the idea for Origami.
We want using Origami to feel like working with a $150k/yr "GTM Engineer” who understands every data source and won't stop until making you the best possible list.
Built with my best friend + cofounder Kenson Chung (who dropped out university, moved to the US, and was later kicked out of the US) and TODAY is the first day Origami is generally available.
I would absolutely love to know what you think of the tool, that's how we improve it! Try it out -> Origami.chat
Clean concept. As a freelancer I spend too much time finding leads manually. The prompt-based approach is smart, way faster than filtering through LinkedIn. Curious how it handles niche B2B audiences.
Amazing service! I’ve already shared it with the sales department. We’re currently using Apollo, but in its database about 40% of contacts are irrelevant if we use internal filters. In your service, at least at first glance, the database quality looks good.
Question: where do the emails come from? Are they checked for validity? Because if more than 10% of emails bounce, it can quickly lead to a ban.
love the funnel report in the end, overall results are much better organized + have higher accuracy than something like Exa
Congrats on the launch, @finn_mallery! The ability to enrich CSVs is a powerful feature for sales teams. What strategies are you considering to ensure users see value quickly and return for more leads?
This is great, I just used it and believe I will continue to do so. It does feel like working with a GTM lead, the AI feels so natural and productive to talk to. Something that would make me more comfortable using it is if I knew and had the confidence that there is no better sum of lead sources out there that what origami provides. I asked it and it said linkedin with over 69 million businesses listed. That is great, and I'm not an expert of where the best leads are, but the differentiator between being 99% and 100% satisfied here would be knowing that the leads are from multiple databases (Apollo, linkedin), web search, social media, and more (This would lock me in). I love the research it does, like fit. Best
Congrats on the launch! As someone building a product with AI integration, I'm curious about your conversational UX decisions. When a user says "find me 50 SaaS CTOs in NYC who recently raised Series B," how much back-and-forth refinement typically happens before the list is useful? Do most users get what they need in one prompt, or is it more of an iterative conversation?
Liked the tool!
The credits based system is confusing because I dont know how many leads I can get from it.
How many leads do you currently have in your database?
Love the "one prompt" approach to lead gen — it's the same philosophy we follow at Aitinery for travel planning. Describe what you want, and the AI does the heavy lifting across multiple data sources.
The 100+ data sources integration is impressive. Curious about the enrichment accuracy — how do you handle conflicting data across different sources? That's always the tricky part when aggregating from multiple providers.
Congrats on the #1 launch and the YC backing!
The app looks very nice from UI / UX perspective. I think it is mainly focused on B2B business. I think it solves a real problem for startups - distribution. If you have a real product the greatest challenge is to find customers and sell. Are you planning to extend the function in this direction ?
This is sick -- testing for super niche ICPs that I typically have to scrape random sites for!
I've tried all outbound tooling to find leads, and Origami is by far the best. You can really drill down on the categories/leads that you want to find, and the agent itself will ask you questions when it's unsure.
Love this - turning GTM expertise into a product is 🔥
Congrats on the launch, Team!
Origami is so good at finding leads it almost feels criminal. Outside of the quality of the leads, it's a beautiful intuitive experience! Big fans here!
When someone asks for an ICP in plain English, what are the failure modes you see most often (e.g., vague ICP, wrong persona, stale signals), and what does Origami do in-product to detect and correct those before it spits out a list?
I've been using this service for a month or two now. It's like Clay if you could just tell it what you're looking for. It's my go-to for contact info now. The price is ridiculously low compared to similar solutions. And when my AI agent got caught in a loop, Support got back to me quickly and even gave me extra credits for the issue. Great team.
Been using this to find people hiring for remote engineers, took like 3 prompts in a couple seconds... pretty good
Love the concept! Tried to log in but couldn’t manage to get the auth going. I’ll definitely be a customer though, congrats on the launch!
