I built OrgChartDesk because every org chart tool falls into one of two traps: it's an HR platform that bills you per employee just to draw a diagram, or it's a blank-canvas diagramming app where you place every box by hand that drains a ton of your time.

The per-editor pricing is genuinely smart for smaller teams, since most chart tools punish you for headcount even when you're just trying to map 40 people. Love that the live view-only link skips the account requirement too, makes sharing with clients or leadership way less friction.
Love that pricing is per editor and not per employee—that alone makes it worth a look. One thing that'd be a big help for our pursuit team: a way to show "to be hired" boxes in the chart so we can pitch a future-state org structure to clients alongside the current one. Right now we end up screenshotting PowerPoint shapes onto the chart and it looks sloppy.
Imported a CSV of about 80 people and the reporting lines connected on their own, which saved me a good hour of dragging boxes around. The view-only link actually opens without forcing a login, which is great for sharing with clients during a bid.
Just used OCD as a trial run, it’s extremely fast, intuitive, easy to use, and overall looks very clean. Home run in my opinion, will definitely continue to use moving forward.
The auto-connect from CSV is the part that would save me the most time. One thing I'd love to see is a way to flag or auto-detect conflicts when someone reports to two managers, since that always slips through in our bids and ends up being a manual fix.
The per-editor pricing is honestly a refreshing change from the usual per-employee stuff. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to track historical versions of the chart, like snapshot it before a reorg so you can compare and roll back if needed. Would make managing changes way less nerve-wracking.
