Most hair loss apps track photos. Orga Hair "Living Profile" tracks the whole picture, builds over time, combining scalp images, daily check-ins, and blood biomarker analysis. This gets smarter the longer you use it. Enter your ferritin, vitamin D, or B12 results and get evidence-based context specific to your hair and scalp health. Free, always. Geo-local recommendations. A clinical export your GP can actually use. Built on 18 months of real clinical validation.
Dagmara and I didn't set out to build an app. We set out to solve something she was seeing every week in her trichology salon.
I'm Irish, which makes Dagmara and I an unlikely combination on paper, a digital AI trichology expert and a product team with 30 years in medical diagnostics and bioinformatics between them. But Dagmara sees the clinical reality every day in the salon. We built the infrastructure around it.
Clients were arriving at the salon with blood test results their GP had marked "normal" and yet the trichoscope was telling a completely different story. Ferritin at 34. Vitamin D borderline. Hair shedding accelerating. No connection drawn between the two by either professional. No tool existed to close the gap.
That gap is what became Orga Hair "Living Profile". (Órga is the Irish word for Golden.)
The biomarker layer wasn't in the original spec. It came directly from Dagmara's clinical observation. We built what the evidence demanded.
What Órga does:
🔬 Biomarker Profile — log your existing blood results and see them banded against hair-relevant thresholds, with peer-reviewed citations behind every flag. Your GP says normal. We show you where you actually sit against trichology research.
📊 Living Profile — daily check-ins across lifestyle, nutrition, stress and sleep build a longitudinal picture of your scalp health over time. Hair loss happens over months and years. The patterns only become visible when you track consistently, the same logic Fitbit applied to steps and sleep, with clinical intelligence behind it.
📈 Progress Tracking — timestamped photos, Scalp Health Scores and trend lines that show whether things are moving in the right direction.
🧠 AI Analysis — a clinical report synthesising your scalp assessment, Living Profile data and biomarker context into a single observational picture. No diagnosis. No prescriptions. Evidence-informed context to bring to your next clinical appointment.
Who it's for:
Someone who has been told their bloodwork is normal but their hair disagrees. Someone in their 20s whose early shedding a GP has dismissed. Someone who has tried three things and has no idea which one, if any, made a difference. Someone who wants to walk into their next trichologist or dermatologist appointment with documented evidence rather than a memory.
What it costs:
Free to download. No subscription. Ever.
The Biomarker Profile, progress tracking, Living Profile and analysis are all available without paying anything. Think Fitbit, the value builds through consistent use over time, and that's entirely free.
Credits unlock a deeper analysis, a fuller clinical analysis drawing on your scalp assessment, biomarker context and "Living Profile" data together. Available when you want them. Never a requirement to get real value from the app.
We'd love to hear from you:
What has and hasn't worked in managing your hair loss? What do you wish existed? What questions would you want an app like this to answer?
That's exactly how the biomarker feature got built, from clinical observation and community feedback. We're listening.
