The idea for Orchestra came from one big pain point — the frustration of fragmented work:

  • Threads and channels overloaded with noise, all demanding attention.

  • Multiple disconnected tools with important data scattered everywhere.

  • Teams wasting hours connecting data and managing this chaos.

We believe that communication and tasks can be shaped differently to empower modern workflows and team collaboration.

We built Orchestra as a tool to solve this — helping teams work faster and collaborate more easily. There are three core principles at the heart of the product:

  • Task-focused communication — Each piece of work gets its own dedicated chat with only relevant teammates in it, so there are no distractions for others.

  • Powerful yet lightweight tools — Tasks and documents come with only essential features. All the overwhelming complexity is left behind.

  • Clear and intuitive design — Teams won't waste time figuring out how to set up and use yet another communication tool. The UX is native and simple.

The result? A unified workspace with messaging, calls, tasks, and docs that work seamlessly together and help you handle operational tasks with ease.

Great design and great product overall.

I remember a similar startup was featured in YC, and later they pivoted to something else, don't know the reason though.

But Orchestra looks well-crafted. What looks different is the stand that it's here to replace existing stacks like Slack, Trello, etc., and not integrate with them.

Was this product position intentional? @sergiepoe @miro_k @valerie_ly At an age where almost everybody is connecting to external tools through MCPs, you guys have thought something bottom-up. Innovative and courageous at the same time. Kudos to the team and congratulations on the launch.

Great idea, could not find whether it could be integrated with YouTrack, is there such an option to create a task into YT directly from the chat?

This looks super promising, love the focus on task-focused communication and cutting through the noise. Most team tools today either overcomplicate things or scatter workflows across too many apps. Orchestra’s “chat-first but structured” approach feels like a refreshing balance.

I still have PTSD from trying to orchestrate (pun intended) where comms would sit between PRDs, docs, endless slacks... eager to try!

We use it as a team for project management. It’s super convenient that each task has its own chat for discussion. Everything about the project is clearly visible, and it’s easy to manage access and roles.
