Hey everyone — maker here 👋

I built Orbs because I wanted a macOS-style radial launcher, but for Windows, and couldn't find one that felt fast and unobtrusive enough. Hold Ctrl+Space, a wheel appears around your cursor, hover to an action, release to fire it.

A couple things I'm proud of under the hood: the whole wheel — including nested folders that expand into their own ring — is hand-built with raw SVG and polar coordinate math, no canvas library. Folders nest 3 levels deep, and any item anywhere in the tree can get a quick-key, so you can skip hovering entirely once you know your setup.

Heads up: it's an unsigned build right now, so Windows SmartScreen will warn on first run — click "More info → Run anyway". Getting it signed is next on my list.

Would love feedback, bug reports, or feature requests — I'm building this solo and will be around all day.

Who hunted Orbs?

Orbs was hunted by Agam Singh Bhatia. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
