Hey PH I'm the founder.
I built OperoPOS after watching a family friend's café pay $900+/month in Square processing fees on top of $2,000 in Toast hardware, only to get locked into a 2-year contract with surprise mid-contract price hikes. The POS industry has basically become a tax on small businesses.
OperoPOS is genuinely free forever. No trial, no "freemium" bait, no percentage of your sales. We don't process cards you keep your existing processor (or accept cash). We're a software company, not a payments company.
